I am delighted that the Boy Scouts of America is considering changing its stance toward the gay community. I have written about the Boy Scouts of America before and how I feel that they act like bullies by not allowing gay kids into their organization. Apparently, the organization is now having intense discussions about lifting the ban on gays. There is also talk of allowing local organizations to make their own decisions about whether or not to admit gay scouts.
For goodness sake, I hope that they make the right decision and lift their archaic and discriminatory ban. Hasn’t anyone told them about equal rights and that being gay is not contagious? I wait with baited breath for their decision.
